Care for this piece
Glossary entries for the crystal components used in this fixture. From the Crown Standard.
A dining-room scale chandelier in warm gold and clear crystal.
About this piece
Eight crystal-wrapped candelabra arms cluster around a central gold stem, with strands of clear crystal beading falling between them. The result is a piece that throws clean light without commanding the room — the kind of chandelier you can put over a dinner table without competing with the table itself.
Construction
The frame is gold-finished stainless steel, and the hanging crystals are clear faceted glass strung in continuous loops between the arms. At under 32 pounds the fixture mounts to a standard junction box without auxiliary support; the cord is rated for small-parcel ship, so it will arrive in one carton and uncrate in your foyer.
Light
Eight E12 candelabra bulbs at 40 watts each. Bulbs not included — clear-filament Edison bulbs read warm and traditional in this fixture; frosted globes read more modern. Dimmable on any household dimmer.
Where it lives
The 59-inch adjustable cord is meant for ceilings between 8 and 10 feet; over a dining table, expect to hang the bottom of the fixture roughly 30 inches above the tabletop. This piece works in a dining room of 12 by 14 feet or smaller, in a foyer with an 8-foot ceiling, or as a paired set of two in a longer room. It will read undersized in a great room — for those, see our 60-inch hero pieces.
Rated for residential use only. Commercial installation voids the Bethel International warranty — see the warranty page.
Not dimmable. Bethel rates this fixture as non-dimmable; installing it on a dimmer circuit can cause buzzing, flicker, or premature LED failure and is outside the manufacturer's spec.
