Overview

This policy describes how Crown Chandelier ("Crown," "we," "us") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase from this site.

Information we collect

We collect information you submit directly: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, order contents, and any message text you send us. If you create an account we also store an encrypted password.

We collect usage information automatically through Google Analytics: pages viewed, time on page, referring URL, approximate location (city / region from IP), and device and browser type. Google anonymizes IP addresses before logging. This data helps us understand how the catalog is browsed and improve the site. We do not sell it, and we do not participate in cross-site behavioral advertising.

Payment information is collected through Stripe. Card numbers are submitted directly to Stripe and are never stored by Crown. We retain Stripe's transaction reference and the last four digits of the card on the order record.

How we use it

• To fulfill your order: process payment, ship the item, send confirmations and tracking.
• To support you after the order: respond to email, handle damage claims and returns, honor the warranty.
• To prevent fraud and protect the integrity of the service.
• To send transactional email (order confirmations, shipping notices, account messages).
• To measure how the site is used and improve the catalog and editorial content.

We do not sell personal information.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for the cart and for signed-in sessions. Google Analytics sets additional cookies to measure traffic on this site only; those cookies are not joined to cross-site advertising profiles. We honor browser-level Global Privacy Control signals where applicable.

How we store and protect it

We encrypt data in transit and at rest. Account passwords are stored as one-way hashes — not as plain text and not in a recoverable form. We only share information with the service providers we need to run the store (see below).

How long we keep it

• Order records: indefinitely, for warranty and tax purposes.
• Account records: until you ask us to delete them, or after extended inactivity.
• Marketing email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
• Support email: retained while needed for resolution and standard business records.
• Analytics data: retained by Google per its default retention window (currently 14 months).

Disclosure to third parties

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the store: our payment processor (Stripe), our analytics provider (Google), our hosting and email-delivery providers, and the carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, and LTL freight partners) for delivery. We share what each provider needs and nothing more.

We disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Crown, our customers, or others.

Children

Crown is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Write to sales@crownchandelier.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

International users

The site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the US, information is transferred to and processed in the US.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy as the site and operations change. Material updates are noted with a new "Last updated" date.
