Bethel International limited warranty
Residential use only
Every fixture in the Crown catalog is rated Residential by Bethel International. Installation in any commercial setting — restaurants, hotels, retail, offices, hospitality common areas — voids the warranty. If your project is commercial, write to us before ordering and we'll point you to the right manufacturer line.
Periods
Bethel International warrants its fixtures against defects in materials and workmanship for the following periods from the original delivery date:
- Indoor fixtures: 1 year.
- Outdoor aluminum fixtures: 3 years.
- LED modules: 3 years.
- Bulbs: not included in the warranty, with the exception of fixtures with integrated LEDs (covered for 3 years as part of the LED module warranty).
Who it covers
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and the original installation location. It is not transferable.
The warranty applies only when all components are supplied by Bethel. Substitution of any component voids the warranty.
Damage on arrival vs warranty claim
Shipping damage is handled separately from the manufacturer warranty:
- Shipping damage: report to Crown with photos within 48 hours of delivery using subject
Damaged Order. See shipping & returns. - Manufacturer warranty: Bethel must be notified before warranty action is approved. We coordinate this for you when you write in.
Resolution options
At Bethel's discretion, a valid warranty claim can be resolved by:
- Providing replacement parts.
- Repair and return of the fixture.
- Replacement of the fixture.
What is not covered
- Labor, removal, or reinstallation.
- Shipping or freight back to Bethel for repair or replacement.
- Commercial use beyond the fixture's intended residential application.
- Unintended use, alteration, abuse, misuse, or negligence.
- Accidents and improper storage, installation, maintenance, or operation.
- Violation of written instructions.
- Improper environmental conditions.
- Scratches, abrasions, and deterioration from paints, solvents, chemicals, or abrasive cleaning.
- Severe weather and acts of God.
- Purchases from unauthorized resellers.
- Claims without a verifiable bill of sale, delivery date, and product number.
- Product not in the original purchaser's possession.
Outdoor exclusions
Finish changes from sunlight, pollutants, and environmental exposure are excluded. Coastal environments within 25 miles of the sea coast are highly corrosive — finish and corrosion claims in coastal installations are not covered.
How to file
Email sales@crownchandelier.com with your order number, photos, and a short description. We'll prepare the Bethel submission and follow it through resolution. Keep your bill of sale and the original packaging if possible.
