About this piece
Sixty hand-faceted clear crystals fall in three tapering tiers from a brushed-brass corona, settling into a form that reads more like sculpture than fixture. Hung in a 20-foot entry, it doesn't dominate the room — it organizes it. Light passes through every facet twice, once on the way down and once again as it scatters off the brass.
Construction
The frame is brushed-brass stainless steel — the alloy choice matters here. Stainless under brass means the finish won't pit or yellow over decades, and the crystals' considerable weight rides on a metal that won't flex. At 435 pounds across the full assembly, this is a hardware-anchored piece; a junction-box install isn't enough. Specify the structural mount during framing, not after drywall.
Light
Sixty E12 candelabra bulbs at 40 watts each give you 2,400 watts of incandescent-warm light when fully lamped, dimmable through any standard household dimmer your electrician recommends. Bulbs are not included — the choice of clear, frosted, or vintage filament is yours, and meaningfully changes the character of the piece.
Where it lives
Sized for a great room, a hotel lobby, a restored Victorian foyer, or a double-height stair landing. The included 98-inch chain accommodates ceilings to roughly 14 feet at standard sightlines, and the fixture is rated for sloped ceilings if your install calls for it. Ships LTL in eight cartons; plan a white-glove delivery and an installer who has handled hardware-mount fixtures of this scale before.
