Will this fit? — sizing guide

A vertical lantern in matte black iron, with a single clear glass shade.

About this piece

Seventeen inches tall and not quite six wide, the DU107 reads as a lantern more than a fixture — an upright rectangular cage in matte black iron, with a single clear glass shade enclosing one full-size E26 bulb. From across a room it reads architectural and quiet; up close the iron shows its hand-finish.

Construction

The cage is forged iron in a flat black finish; the shade is clear seeded glass. Under 8 pounds, single-carton ship, junction-box mount with a standard wall-bracket plate. Build is straightforward — this is a workhorse sconce, not a showpiece.

Light

One E26 medium-base bulb at 60 watts. Bulb not included. Filament-style Edison bulbs read warmest and most period-appropriate in this fixture; clear globe bulbs read more contemporary. The shade is clear, so the bulb itself is part of the look — choose accordingly.

Where it lives

Mounts in pairs flanking a doorway, a fireplace, or a bathroom mirror. Works in entries, hallways, powder rooms, and along stair runs. Not rated for damp locations, so keep it inside the building envelope. The compact footprint means it sits flush against narrow wall sections where larger sconces would overhang the trim.

Rated for residential use only. Commercial installation voids the Bethel International warranty — see the warranty page.

Not dimmable. Bethel rates this fixture as non-dimmable; installing it on a dimmer circuit can cause buzzing, flicker, or premature LED failure and is outside the manufacturer's spec.
